Ok I know im digging up old stuff and Im sorry about that but this is as close to finding a solution as I have come after searching. Im using the 9121 version and the TCD theme. In the header of that theme I see nothing related to the linkage in the top menu.

I am wanting to be able to add my own links and possibly category in there. Im seeing so many different locations to look and so many different suggestions I am now confused.
Site link is www.petrosvfd.ne1.net
at the end just after "Web" is where I want to add this link.

IMO: Someone who is good with coding should really address the linking ability in DF so it would be a little easier, its way to complicated Sad

Way off-topic and way off the mark -> split.

The "linking" ability isn't as complicated as you think and the coding was done long ago.

You need to explore your admin panel » admin.php?op=cpgmm

There you can add categories and custom links, including external.

Appreciate your reply but really don't see how it was off topic as the original topic was based on the same question. Perhaps you didn't read my second reply either as I stated I did find out what I was doing wrong but anyway thanks.

The original topic was about editing the static links directly coded into the theme header - it was so old, it pre-dated the css menu which is dynamically generated. You can still use that method, but correctly designed themes will require the css menu to be disabled for them to re-appear.

There was no second reply Confused

Also note that, should you upgrade to DF 9.2.x, that theme will no longer function and will require an upgrade.

If and when you do, just place a request in the Theme Requests forum - we try to fix existing GPL themes within a few days and then provide them for everyone Smile
