Problem has since expanded and is now affecting everyone, as well as new users trying to sign up. everything is getting "security error" unless used in IE6.

Got an odd one for you.
I'm receiving a "Security Error" when changing almost anything in Admin panel.
but here's the catch. I receive this error in Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE8, IE7... but not IE6.

Thanks to greenday2k I managed to find everything and get it all running.
(turns out the line wasn't in the same order in the news file, and that's why grep couldn't find it)

I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to find what this filter is actually picking up on in the theme. any ideas would be appreciated.
