How To Install Tufat FlashChat 4.0.11 (with screenshots)

All i get is a blank screen in 4.5.6; the install and everything went great. But I am shut out once i go to the directory...just a white screen. Any ideas?

I had specified a custom theme that I made, and then forgot to upload the file.

I just installed flashchat on my cpgnuke site.
Highly recommended! Especially for users behind corporate firewalls etc, as this works only via regular port 80.

Did you get 4.5.7 working in the latest CVS? I cannot for the life of me get it to work, it wont let me in the chat. The latest versions of flashchat allow you to select database tables where your user information comes from

the documentation was very easy to follow, a job well done !... I do have a problem tho... for some reason, Im seeing the content of the index.php instead of the flashchat, the link I used works if I paste it directly...

I have to admit, I've been lax and have not upgraded the chats that I installed back then yet. LOL.

Let me know if you would, I can always redo it for another newer version if it needs it.

I'm not sure if your documentation still works on the later versions, but there is documentation on the flashchat website on how to get it working with cpgnuke.

I've installed the latest version of flashchat 4.6.
Installation went well. i can log in as a normal user,
but i can't login as an administrator. When i go the admin/index.php/. It just shows me a blank screen.
I've chmod everything to 777. It should work right?

I've also noticed that tufat uses "roles" to assign users.
Does this affect the integration of flashchat?

this is the answer i got from tufat forums:

The roles config is if you install this in statelessCMS only. With this integrated it should allow you to login to the chat and that chat admin area with your admin name and password. If it's not working it could be that the cms file hasn't been updated for this. Someone from cpgnuke originally made this cms file (cpgNukeCMS.php) so I don't know if Darren has had anyone look at this or not.

4.6 works great for me, cept darkgrue's block doesn't work anymore. will have a closer look later to see if any of the tables changed
