So I found out this great article in the FAQ section and decided it to implement it on my site. I have made this file as told in the FAQ section that I have attached.

I have also scheduled a cron job as mentioned. No I don't know why it isn't working! I am having doubts with the absolute path that I have used but I don't know where I can get the exact path. Some help is definitely needed and more importantly appreciated.

Solved the issue. Just in case someone comes across the same problem please CHMOD the dbbackup file to 755.
