I've read probably all posts in the coppermine section about error and whatnots however i didn't find any similar problems to the erros that I have:

1) Here's an error that I get when I try to upload a phot to the album:

The picture 'modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/10002-logo.gif' can't be inserted in the album

File: [removed]/modules/coppermine/db_input.php - Line: 462

2) Another problem is that the title of the albums are simply repeats of the word "edit" such as "editediteditedit"

Can someone tell me how to fix this?

So any suggestions?

I have 777 cmod all the folders under coopermine

Could be something with the server? like GD libraries or other stuff

I was just wondering if you really really really were still using php 4.2.2 as your server specs show

There are quite few reasons why teh function will fail, picture not being created (so missing file) or resize fails etc etc.
Its a quite singular problem and needs degub.

If you have a little experience with php try to locate the function add_picture somewhere inside includes/coppermine/ and "echo" something step by step until you get where it exactly fails.

Hi I just edit the function is in the file picmgmt.inc I echo some lines (//) finally I can upload a photo but I can see it show with an X also if I clic over y see the bigger photo but still with the X I can´t see any thumbnail.

Aditional info: In the configuration secction
ªMethod for resizing images ª y have two options Image Magic or netpbm, I can select any and don´t work.

I have another dragonfly portal in other server and in this option i can select GD library in this case the galerie works OK. I think the problem is with mi hosting provider....
