Is there a way to search if an IP address has ever posted on my site? I tried reformatting the Look Up IP Address link a few ways, but without the topic and post ID, it doesn't want to work. I could simply look in the SQL db if I knew how to convert an IP address into the format used in there.

PHP:

# first of all convert 32bit into binary
$ip = inet_pton('aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd');

# then search the database using
$ip = $db->binary_safe($ip);
