Does the download points to a local or an external pdf file ... enabling notices and warnings in debug will also help.

Nano
They files are held locally. I uploaded them. I have just remembered that I tested them after the upload, (but this was before my site upgraded to 9.3.2.0). I will try the enabling notices and warnings to see what info i can get.

Last version is 9.3.3, however nothing ever changed in that area, not even close ... and we have tested in few 9.3.3 and its working fine.

Moreover, PDF version shouldn't make any different.

Didn't your server had any recent change?

Can you pass us the detail for the download?
If private, do you know how to get Request and Response Headers from the PDF file (with firebug, chrome, opera ...)?

That is all I need, Request and Response Headers.

I am not sure what you require here nano.

I will check about changes with my server

it's all my .pdf.

you can find some of them here:
www.cofscouts.org.au/i...name=Notes

the example above is in the form of downloads pro but it is also happening in downloads. I am using both modules.

I'm getting a blank page when I try to download the file, it's possible you have a parse error somewhere.

Make sure you overwrite _all_ files inside your website /include folder with original ones.

If none help, enable CPG_DEBUG inside /includes/config.php for more details.

Nano
Just upgraded to 9.3.3.0 and all good, I will mark as solved.
Why did this fix it?

Post subject: Re: [solved] PDF files don't download

I had a blank page when trying to download, and headers sent from your website were unfamiliar to me.
Both of them indicates something went wrong at a very early stage, up, in the code.

One ore more corrupted or modified core files, was surely the cause.
Upgrade didn't fix it, using original files did.

Glad you got it sorted.
