Post subject: null printer?

Error Code: 404 ()
Occurred: Mon Nov 29 11:02:45 EST 2004
Requested URL: /NULL.printer
User Address: 218.75.163.22

There was also some other ones but they somehow dissapeared from my logs. Really strange urls with random alphanumeric characters. no special characters.

That's more than likely an old Win2000 printer exploit. If you're not running on a Windows server and you're not using a real old version of IIS, you've got nothing to worry about.

Same probably goes for the other logs as well. Usually, those are infected windows machines looking for others to infect.

Post subject: Re: null printer?

I'm kinda confused with this post? Was this a question about NULL PRINTER directives or about the security risk of said directive?
