| Which revision of rss/forums.php are you using? I think it shouldn't really matter but for your site 9.2.2.1 is supposed to be the failsafe one. Is your 9.0.4.0 site only modified in the rss dir or in other places, too? ( offtopic: I'd seriously consider upgrading to 9.0.6.1 if I were you. The failsafe way for this is supposed to be to do an upgrade to 9.0.5.0 first, if I remember correctly.) |

I'll have to start working on upgrading I suppose since there seems to be no other way. |

To be honest I don't think it's an issue of 9.0.4.0 against your hostingspecs. If it were you would have encountered other problems, too, since the rss/forums.php file is nothing special as far as I can see. You could try enabling full debugging in config.php for a brief moment and see what you get when visiting that page. |

Weird. 1) I thought debug mode was at one point handled through the main settings in the user admin panels. |

2) This does not exist in my config.php file. |

Did you once upgrade and didn't edit and upload the 9.0.4.0 config.php? |

Now I want to update and provide some new functionality to my users. I think I should go the route of upgrading. |

Don't panic if your right blocks disappear. Just read the FAQ. And I still recommend going through 9.0.5 first. And DO BACK-UP first! |
