mixing of cvs and other files is not suggested, can you download the latest snap and update all files except your theme? I can not recreate the problem in my cvs copy.

looking at the debug output the picture name is not being passed to the imaging function which works fine here...

Thanks akamu!

I've already downloaded RC1 and installed the files over PR1. So far everything works great. Pictures are uploading fine.

Cheers,

I'm working this issue too. I have reuploaded the file like was mentioned here but no luck. Having a image gallery is a major part of my site. The info below is from the attemp to upload an image it's close to the other info posted here other than the line number. As for me I have no idea what it means. Any help would be great. What should I do Next?

I’m having this problem as well on either Upload or Batch Add:

Quote:
Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.

File: ./modules/coppermine/db_input.php - Line: 446

No additional error messages are shown in the Admin footer, though. If it were a safe mode issue, I would, wouldn’t I?

UPDATE: Configured Coppermine to use ImageMagick instead of GD and same problem still happens. (Path to convert is correct.)

no pazu the debug info that is even lower.
Below your "Interactive software released under GNU GPL, Code Credits, Privacy Policy"

Try using the cpgnuke or dragonfly theme, those templates have the proper settings for it

Sorry, I have all debug options on and the only thing down there are the database queries, even after switching back to the cpgnuke theme.

Okay, I was able to generate some error text:

Quote:
./modules/coppermine/db_input.php

* Notice line 361: Undefined variable: dest_dir
* Notice line 362: Undefined variable: dest_dir
* CMS Warning line 362: Destination directory is not writable by the script !

./includes/imaging/gd2.inc

* Warning line 34: imagecreatefromjpeg() [function.imagecreatefromjpeg]: '/var/tmp/php34aGPd' is not a valid JPEG file

(Note that I was able to successfully upload the same JPEG to my test installation running on Mac OS X 10.3.7/Apache 2.0.52/PHP 4.3.9/MySQL 4.0.21/Dragonfly 9.0.1.1.)

(Note also that modules/coppermine/albums & modules/coppermine/albums/userpics are both 777.)

I switched coppermine to use ImageMagick instead and got the following, slightly different, error text:

Quote:
./modules/coppermine/db_input.php

* Notice line 361: Undefined variable: dest_dir
* Notice line 362: Undefined variable: dest_dir
* CMS Warning line 362: Destination directory is not writable by the script !

./includes/imaging/im.inc

* Notice line 32: Undefined index: OS
* Warning line 40: exec() [function.exec]: Unable to fork [/usr/local/bin/convert -quality 80 -antialias -interlace plane -geometry 2048x1536 '/var/tmp/phpARaGwX' 'modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/schnee.jpg' 2>&1]
* CMS Warning line 45: Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: -1
Cmd line : /usr/local/bin/convert -quality 80 -antialias -interlace plane -geometry 2048x1536 '/var/tmp/phpARaGwX' 'modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/schnee.jpg'
The convert program said:
* Warning line 46: unlink(modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/schnee.jpg) [function.unlink]: No such file or directory

./includes/cmsinit.inc

* Warning line 468: htmlspecialchars() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given

Yes, but the error occurs whether logged in as a member or an admin.
