I remember CPG Nuke 8.3 had this, but Dragonfly doesn't. Instead there is a Super User and if you make other Super Users they can delete the person who set up the website.
Perhaps there's a way to bring back the God admin, or perhaps make it so you can have a primary Administrator and then add Co-Administrators who have the same functions as the Administrator but they cannot do anything to effect the Administrator.

I'm pretty sure you can't delete the original super user

run0 is correct. I think the non-deleting is restricted to user id 2. I'd have to look it up though.
I do know that the other admins on my site cannot delete me and I am userid 2.

Ah! It is the admin that has admin_id == 1 in cms_admins table that is undeletable.
So, if you setup the site for your friend, using your login as the first admin created, you will want to swap admin IDs with them, so that they are undeletable.

i think taking away the actual name "god" user was a good thing as it was giving too many admins a "god complex". super user is a much better title in my opinion.

the only problem I see with dropping the 'god' name is that there is no seperation from superuser id=1 and any other superusers you create. There should IMO be some kind of naming difference to show the top dog.

ooo I like the Ultra. Or Owner. Or Top Admin.
Tell me even if you can't delete the original superuser, can the secondary superusers still change their passwords so they can't access? Or has that been fixed?
I remember that was my main hestitation/concern with switching over in the beginning.

Call it what you like.
language/yours/main.php - define _SUPERUSER

Indeed. Administrator being the topmost user. Co-Admin's being the others.

Problem is you change one and they all change. What I'd like to see is a different name for the first superuser to set it apart from any other your site may have.

hmm, but who outside the admins, sees that you're all called Superman or God or Boss, so I'm not clear on the need for the change?
