mcadle's fix works, until a member registers and wants their password auto-generated. they have no way of knowing what it is, as it's blanked out.

I applied the new register.php
now.. when a user registers... their register date look like this:
1133833418
instead of this:
Dec 06, 2005
as displayed in the members list.

after reading a little further into register.php
I found that I had to update several other items as well.
