Close race, I wonder how many people use the buttons vs. how many ignore them. I only use IM for biz, and this is my hobby, so I never use them. I'm going to poll my site.

They have an example of the JS drowpdown menu. just go into any forum and click somones user name.
I understand that this may not work for all users.

I didn't see any dropdown menus. Where are they exactly?

look at a post and click a user name.
I really would love to see this option, i think it is vbulletun standerd?

I wouldn't put it on the users name though because new users not familiar with forums would never know it's there.

It is a nice idea, but I agree with djdevon3, perhaps one button that says "Contact" that will open up to reveal the various contact methods...
