yes thats why i asked Cronner, maybe its too new and no one has tried it yet

i will set up another test server and give it a run myself when i get time, and let everyone know how it goes

i do understand i will not get support for this but thats ok, i like to experiment too and have done my share of beta testing. I won't be running the latest Apache beta tho, i'm not a total masochist lol

On my other box, I have apache 2.2, mysql 4.3, php.5.1.1, and the most current gd. I am not having any problems with the current DF. Installed without having to do the incremental patch install. I would say it is good - so far for me.

Good Job DF Devs and thanks to the whole DF team and community.

The issue with Apache2 is very simple:
Previous versions identified themselves as "Apache/2" but now they identify as "Apache" and that's the whole issue.
PHP and Dragonfly assume Apache 1.x is used but actualy you use 2.x
You are highly encouraged to take a look at the Apache Documentation
to get a basic understanding of the Apache 2.0 Server.
So have you all found some solution yet? To make DragonFly working on Apache2 ? Im almost go mad.. Im looking for any freehosting where I can use DragonFly but still nothing !!! Except one and there they disallow mega projects as Nuke, phpBB etc Embarassed

I can't affect server setting anyway ! And more than 90% freehosting uses Apache2 - so its for me insoluble. Have u all some idea if there patch or different way how to fix this issue with Apache ?! Or if not, please recommend me some Freehosting which works with DF 9.0.6.1 Praying Praying Praying

Oh, thank you for your proposal. I've added your ICQ number to my list and I will contact you, when you will be on-line Wink . I think so, that best solution is to have myself server at home, but I would like to have it power-on all day.So Im looking for suitable hosting on net, but still I have problems with cookies.

Btw.
Why noone unify qustions connected with cookies into one topic ?
(There is plenty of them and usually same problem)

Just updated my production site (windows update killed my old Apache) to

XPSp2
Apache 2.2.2
MySQL 5.0.21
PHP 5.1.4
CPGNuke 9.1.0.7 snapshot

All running smooth so far, page loads are very fast and just seem to display quicker
