I'll certainly click it! I know you have to draw the line somewhere else you'd end up with a list 3 screens long of every currency in the world, but there are lots of british users of Dragonfly and surely one more wouldn't hurt

Oh I have no objection to paying in euros, I'm all for the euro anyway...but to do that at the moment costs me �1.50 - a charge payable to the bank for being charged in euros.

If we accepted ₤ pounds we have to pay paypal 1,50 and the conversion costs.

Since i use euro's and akamu dollars we see no use to pay all the conversions ourselves.

A second arguement is our donations registration (PDT) if we added more currencies we have to build more currency converters which will make your donation either a benefit or a drawback based on the value of your currency later on and we all know this fluctuates every day.

I figured that DJMaze & Akamu had the reason for only dollar and euro donations, because they themselves did not want to pay the $1.50. I had that happends to me once. I had to pay $.1.50 for the fee, and on top of that I had to pay the 2% charged. Oh well sometime it happends that way. I tooks a hit on that one.

I'll probably donate in dollars then as I end up accumulating those in my PayPal account and can't spend them...they don't charge me £1.50 to recieve dollars though...

On a serious note: - Depends If you recieved funds in dollar and have to convert them you will be charged. Also if someone that send you funds use credit card, and you have to convert the money from what ever currency it was to dollar you will be charge. You can look at PAYPAL terms for more explaination.

We can buy items thru other people their paypal accounts and since i live in the netherlands and akamu on hawaiï we order the items in those currencies and not yen, pounds or australian dollars

I think I might just start doing that myself accepting in euro. Since most of the place I shop at half of the time accept euros.

Just realised there is a section under "my account" that shows how much I have donated...only it shows $0.00...is this a bug, or just it takes a while to update?

It has to be done manually. So whenever an admin gets to it.

Oh ok, noone found a way of making it automatic yet? I thought paypal provided some developer APIs for doing things like that.

just for a note here not sure wether its relevant but for selling our advertising i will be using www.shareit.com it uses 6 langs and 32 currencys ... its mostly used for shareware software but you can like i have use it for other items like advertising air time ect. check it out and see what you think the services have been around for a long time and are very intence with features of things you can do and promotion for products. Also uses its own affilate system.
