|
Hi everyone. I came across Dragonfly today and installed it as I liked what I saw. Trying some things out with it and I have an error and a question for you all to help me out with.
If I try to change the position of a block, be it up, left or right, I get this error message:
| Code:: |
includes/db/db.php
* CMS Warning line 75: On /admin.php?op=blocks&save=2 While executing query "UPDATE cms_blocks SET weight=weight+1 WHERE weight>= AND bposition='r'" the following error occured: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND bposition='r'' at line 1 In: /data/home/kato/public_html/admin/modules/blocks.php on line: 460 |
I installed it as the directions stated. Any of the blocks that say they are supposed to be on the right are also not there. I don't see them on the right. Is there some issue that I should be aware of?

First of all - welcome to DF!
Second - please search the forums before posting.
These are both well-known and documented issues.
I'm not trying to be rude, but if you search, you'll see exactly how many times this has already been posted!

Sorry, was at work and in a hurry when I posted that. I found the fix and now I have no errors...
When I tell something to be on the right though, it never shows on the right side. It's like it hides it...is that what it's supposed to do?

That's exactly what it is supposed to do, if you have the blocks setting set to "left" in admin > modules. Make sure the blocks are set for each module how you want them.
Also, in admin > blocks, make sure each block is enabled for each module you want it to show in.

Same problem cant see any right blocks no matter what I do or which theme I use.
I have tried changing things in modules and in blocks but still nothing.
Any advice?

Sorry got it now. I just set the news (home) to both instead of left or right and all now works fine.

huh? he's not saying that he updated his theme, he's saying that he set the correct settings.
There are 2 places that you need to set correctly:
1. Admin - Modules.
-----Click on your module that you have set as home (probably news) - change blocks to BOTH

2. Admin - Blocks.
-----Place blocks on the right AND select the module you want to show them in (News)
