Have you deleted the welcome article that DragonflyCMS installed for you? Then add your first own article.
By the way ... admin pages doesn't display right blocks side. check at modules level instead.

I have checked on the member's point of view. I created a user and login as a member's view and not as an admin's view, and stil the same.
also how about this:
also when i click the link "Home" that points to mysite.com/index.php, it has an error message always saying "ERROR
Page 1 does not exist

What NC is saying is to create a news item and see if that fixes your error with the news page. This is more than likely a separate issue from your right block issue, so please reply as to whether you have created any news items or not.
If you haven't then DF will give you the error because there is nothing to display. Does that make sense?
Let us know how it goes.

O.k. so you have to make sure the modules you want to be able to have blocks on the right are set for it.
Admin>Modules>
Then click edit for your module (news for example)
Now where it says blocks choose "Both" from the dropdown menu.
Now that particular module is allowed to display blocks on the left and right sides. Next you will have to edit the block you want to make sure it is configured correctly.
Admin>Blocks>
Edit the block you are trying to show (CPG Scroll Random)
For the Position dropdown choose "Right"
For the activate dropdown choose "Yes"
For the selection box of modules hold control and select any modules you want it to be displayed in. Base on the example above, make sure "News" is highlighted.
Now click the "Save changes" button.
That should do it and you should be able to see your cpg scroll random box in at least the News module. Follow the same steps to configure all of your blocks and modules to your liking.

You may be unfamiliar with the facts that:
1. News now displays that message if you don't have any news articles
and
2. Modules and blocks are now more configurable than they once were. Check admin > modules and admin > blocks to make sure they are configured to show what you want to show.

I have a brand new install and I get no blocks on the right hand side. This is default theme, new intall moments out of the install process. When I search on this issue alot of people recently are having it with new installs.
If I move them to the left they show up but to the Right they do not. I have had other dragonfly installs (last year) so i do know the basics of how to move them that are posted above.

hiya, i'm having exactly the same problem - and i'm not new to CMS's either. all i want is to set up blocks either side of my main content, like most CMS's. i'm going to go look at diz's vid tuts now, to see if they'll shed some light on things, but *shrug* i may be back

1.) Check modules, and make sure when you edit, you turn blocks to both or to the right.
2.) Check/Edit the blocks admin page, make sure they are on and on the right.
3.) While your editing the individual blocks, make sure the proper modules are selected in order to show the block on those desired modules.
4.) Check Dizs page again. Also TCD.
