Before people start complaining about suspension due to spam, please do the following:

1. setup mail client to connect to your domain WITHOUT a login (anonymous)
In the above case this is mail.racingforjesus.com

2. send an email thru mail.racingforjesus.com

3. when sending email succeeded... Show PoC (Proof of Concept) to your host and ask them to fix it or money back or something

There are just to many servers without correct mailserver protection.

intersting post, makes me feel like my hosting service is quite good in having, Anti spam stuff and all that...

Lucky if i ever see 1 spam mail filtered throu to in my mail box.

Thank you for all your responses. We have moved the site to joomla because the host did not want me to use DF. I am not conviced that DF is the problem either. I had been keeping up to date on the versions of DF. I have some suspicions on how they got into my FTP account and have made some adjustments in security.

I have another site that is still using DF. I think DF is much more mature than joomla. I will try to keep that site DF and follow the suggestions here to keep try to keep it secure. However it is the same host, so hopefully nothing happens or they will tell me to get rid of that one too.

I would have liked to not changed the cms, but I was under intense pressure to get something up and running ASAP and the provider didn't want me to stay with DF.

Is it a 9.0.6.1 site? I suggest that you at least apply the four patches, so that at least you won't get into problems that are related to those issues.
