Members who have registered with a AOL email address must PM an admin and provide a new email address.
Visitors that try to register with a AOL email account will be blocked for registration within a few days.

We need to ban AOL because their RDNS (ReverseDNS) is failing to verify our server although our server does accept DNS lookups.
Since we don't email all providers who fail to fix their issues the AOL domain is about to be blocked due to the many bounces we receive.

More info about AOL's RDNS can be found here: postmaster.info.aol.co...dnsnr.html

Failing lookups:
- secure.cpgnuke.com
- cpgnuke.com

Excellent move. In my opinion AOL is useless, along with a few others Wink

Yep. Got to agree with what's been said. AOL is a pain in the backside.

It's the only ISP that continues to cause me grief on my sites. I've been through phpNuke, postNuke, vBulletin, phpBB, Mambo, and now Dragonfly. Every single system I've utilised has encountered problems with AOL users.

They're a pain to track as well if you have a mischievous user on your site. Doing an IP Track to find out who it is is always completely in vain.

What's the advantage of being with AOL anyway? I personally see absolutely no benefit in being with this provider.
