I don't know... maybe it's just me... but why not have THIS site available in virtually all languages and and for each language an individual forum.
ie: uk.dragonflycms.org, de.dragonflycms.org, ro.dragonflycms.org
each regional group can have their own forum in their subdomain (not necessarly a whole dragonflycms site) - of course, whoever wants to start such a site should contribute resources.
...all this to have the site organized and centralized.
say I build a community site, can I get a subdomain from you guys? ro.cpgnuke.com [or maybe I'm confusing stuff...]
I really like nukecops idea of having endless subdomains, how'd they manage?
thanks.

I don't see the benefit of doing sub-domains over separate sites. Each webmaster should and is responsible for supplying their own hosting.

WE can host cpgnuke.ru because the server is fast enough however there ARE restrictions:
- You pay for the domainname
- The website uses the latest CVS builds which we could upload for security or other reasons
- You maintain the russian language files on the server
- You maintain the content
- When our host says "pay for the bandwidth" you need to pay for it
For now everything is free and dragonflycms.org already has 20Gigs bandwidth a month so another 5-10 gigs for .RU will definatly comes to a critical "pay or die" limit.
In return we share our knowledge and expertise to pegasus/dedicatednow and support their services everywhere we can.

first things first.
.ro is NOT .ru
Romania is not Russia....
check this please: CIA World Factbook
for the greater view... [east]
lol and I live in Canada.. anyway.
that's already more then I had asked for, DJ
I have never said a word about hosting, because I want to host it.
I was wondering if you can provide the subdomain ro.dragonflycms.org so that points to my host.
thank you.

does that mean impossible?
how does NukeCops manage the problem?
for sure they can't have all those subdomains running on the same server/network....
thanks.
