I've mentioned this issue before - somewhere along the way, a group of people have interpreted that you must have permission to port any module/theme/whatever and have taken this to apply to everything. This is simply untrue if it is GPL - sometimes, people may feel they should ask, and that is their choice, but GPL is GPL. However, DragonflyCMS has never condoned removal of credits.

The difference, where this site is concerned, is with software that has a specific licence condition requiring permission - a good example of this was some of Bob's scripts from nukescripts.net.

if u go back to the bottom of page 1, you will see that "PAUL" as specifically given permission for the dragonfly community to produce a modded version and massively destribute it, as long as his link remains intact.
