 Post subject: How to change the forum templated layout for Profile info?

Was interested in trying to make the forum poster name, when viewing threads, such as this one, where the username=drop down link menu that will include links to profile, www, PM, email, yim,aim, gallery, latest forum posts, last forum threads(starters), and maybe a few other options, and thus remove all the images and clean up the look some!
Any help would be nice, have tried to edit the viewtopic_body.php in the themes/template/fpro/ and also the file includes/forumspro/display_post.php.,
Just for a test, tried to remove all the images and was not able, delted cache and deleted in default theme and theme in use and buttons remained!
