I think that you should add the Groups Waiting to be accepted in the Waiting Content block, for admins.

Did this ever happen? I don't seem to get any notification when someone applies to join a group..

Since groupmoderators may be busy or lazy, it seems like a very good idea to let the admin know what's going on. Seems like a nice project for intermediate coders. I'm too busy right now to try and write such a module on my own.
Anybody care to investigate which tables and columns are involved?
