ISPs Suck

Yea Cable can be very expensive and customer service is mostly terrible due to monopolization of regions with the companies. (I asked how they get around having a "monopoly" and they told me they offer an array of prices for many different incomes, so they are not abusing a monopoly, so they can have it. This was of course before Dish networks were popular.

DSL was just a bit too slow for me though, I saw very similar speeds through Verizon DSL. On the other hand, it was a lot cheaper.

The thing the bugs the crap out of me is they say they can not give me more upload when i know good and well they can if the would. I would sacrafice 4 mbs download for it to be switched to upload.

I also did a speed test in http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test and got the results in seconds,my test results are
0.753 download speed
0.409 upload speed
Am not sure whether this is normal or i should increase the speed.Any suggestions?
