OK, I installed Draginfly CMS..for the most part w/no problems..had my own theme set up and was working on installing modules. I had to take a week off and when i came back the theme was gone and when I go to log into Admin.php I get this error message:

Please enable cookies to post on this site. If you feel that you have reached this message in error please go back to the preceding page and post again

I'm not sure what i need to do here to get this issue resolved. Please help Very Happy

Never mind..I got it to work. I went into the cache/config_MAIN_CFG.php file and made sure I had the correct domain path. It worked and brought everything back

Post subject: Re: Need to Enable cookies

I have the same problem, i checked the 'cache/config_MAIN_CFG.php' file and my domain path is set to '/'
PHP:
  'server' => array(
'path' => '/',
'domain' => 'apocalipse.hyperphp.com',
),
before my week off server path (and coockies path) were the same as I remember, so I do not know what to change there.

Please help me because I do not even know what to do to get this issue resolved (I only managed to find this topic by forums search)

I checked the admin.php?op=info&general and found there
PHP:
Session save_path	tcp://10.1.1.20:11211
, I'm not shure, but I guess I shoud change tcp link to something local (like path to folder on my server) and then, after clearing cashe folder, I guess all session info should be stored at my directory, not tcp, or am I wrong?

I have the same problem, however now I can't login under Admin.. when I click 'login' it takes me to the same page (almost like if you refresh a page)

Are you trying to set the site up without having the domain name pointing over to the correct nameservers ?

First of, do NOT edit the config_MAIN_CFG.php file
It actually triggers info from admin->config(or settings or whatever the name was)
You might have to delete config_MAIN_CFG.php after changing the configuration under administration, however, it's not usually needed to delete config_MAIN_CFG.php, as it's usually updated itself when settings are changed.

Normally I'd just say 'what eestlane said' but really this needs to be repeated obviously.

DO NOT EDIT CACHE FILES. DELETE THEM.

Hmm, still doesn't stand out enough.

DO NOT EDIT CACHE FILES. DELETE THEM.

Much better.

Post subject: Re: Need to Enable cookies

Ok guys I know this is an old post and i hate to necro posts...
But, I recently changed my primary domain.
When this happened i changed the db for cookies domain ans server domain, as I had the issue of "please enable cookies" when trying to login as admin.

Now understand that Nothing has changed here, Except the Domain.
unfortunately i did not catch the (Do not edit the cache_config), so i edited it. lol

Since i found this thread i deleted the main cache cfg file but It's giving me a "Too many failed attempts" when I try to log in as admin. Evil or Very Mad
So at this point im kind of at a loss.
Is there anything else in the cache i should delete?

Ok i did that.
It doesn't give me the too many failed attempts error anymore,
but it's still acting like a refreshed page.
I'm seriously confused. This is on the same host.
All files are in the same directories.
The only thing that has changed is the domain.
I've set all the new domain/cookie info in the db table under *_Config_custom.
I deleted the config_MAIN_cfg.php
and i deleted a_Login.php.
(and yes i cleared the browser Razz )

"acting like a refreshed page"? so when you try to login as admin and submit you get redirected to the same page again? once? or over and over.
