Post subject: upgrade from phpnuke 7.9

Hi all
I have just upgraded from phpnuke 7.9, the installation has gone ok but i cannot access my site.
All i get is this error

You can't access this file directly.

This appears when i try to access www.c2club.co.uk/test and also www.c2club.co.uk/test/index.php.

I have searched the forums but there only seems to be a couple of other people had this problem and there solutions didnt work Sad

Any help would be greatly appreciated as im desperate to get away from phpnuke Very Happy

Thanks

Yup Nano is right. All I can see is a maintenance message. Have you tried logging into your admin section and moving out of the Maintenance mode?

Follow this link for the same

admin.php?op=settings&s=1

I get "You can't access this file directly" only for your index.php, an error that comes from whats on top of DragonflyCMS installation path. Probably an htaccess that try to protect any siteroot/path/index.php from an external access.

If you go to admin.php then all is fine.

It is, probably, coming from phpnuke files.

I'll suggest you to try just for a minute to comment all "access denied" from admin/case/ which i know is full of them.

Remember that its only a test and you should revert any changes after since could reduce the security of your site.

If that will work then we will drive you on converting your admin/case/* to our system even if as far i know it is suppose to be compatible already.

thanks nana, just a quick update. I have deleted all the phpnuke related files from the /admin/links folder and just uploaded the cpgnuke ones, and i can now get into the admin panel.
I am however now getting this error when i try and access any modules through the admin section:

The requested URL /test/modules.php was not found on this server.

Hiya, i think the are already quoted. This is the contents of the case.blocks file.

Code::
if (!defined('ADMIN_FILE')) {
	die ("Access Denied");
}

switch($op) {

    case "BlocksAdmin":
    case "BlocksAdd":
    case "BlocksEdit":
    case "BlocksEditSave":
    case "ChangeStatus":
    case "BlocksDelete":
    case "BlockOrder":
    case "HeadlinesDel":
    case "HeadlinesAdd":
    case "HeadlinesSave":
    case "HeadlinesAdmin":
    case "HeadlinesEdit":
    case "fixweight":
    case "block_show":
    include("admin/modules/blocks.php");
    break;

}

?>

Post subject: Re: upgrade from phpnuke 7.9

right here is what i have now doen to be able to get it working.

I have deleted all of my current files, i then uploaded all of the cpgnuke files, and uploaded the mainfile.php and the modules.php files from the documentation folder of the cpgnuke folder i downloaded from here.

I then ran the installer.php file, i got an error to do with nuke_bbusers, so i deleted that table and then ran the installer again. The installer went all the way through with no more problems.
However, it has not kept any of my nuke_bb tables, it may have converted them but it hasnt kept any of the data.

I have now copied over my old nuke_bb tables, it is showing that the posts and forum structure is there, however it is saying " this board has no forums "

Any ideas?
