this is difficult to descirbe other than going to my site to check it out, basically if you have a block that can accept input (shoutblock for instance), when you click on the input form, instead of allowing input it actually minimizes the block! You can see this on my site below for headlines as well, granted they are not accpeting input, but you can get the idea of the issue.

Thanks

I was able to type in the user name and password fields perfectly on login in the block.

I cannot see the shout block, however if I go to type something in the User Info block login inputs ... it doesn't collapse.

check the cnn headlines block, try clicking on a link, it will work, but it collapses if you watch closely, I will add the shoutblock for all vistitors as well, basically my point in showing the other blocks having the issue is to not confuse this with only being an issue with shoutblock

You sure this isn't a cache/browser issue?

I saw no problems on any blocks.

None collapsed on their own for me.

same issue in IE and FireFox, cache cleared as well. If you check my site aysos.com you can reproduce the issue by trying to issue a shout.

might be a different issue, but seems like I can't move a center block to either left or right and all center blocks text is always aligned in the center?

sounds like the blockhead div is not being closed.
Yep:
Code:
<div class="table1" style="text-align:center;" id="pic16" onclick="blockslide('16');">
Looks like it allows the collapsing of center blocks, but it isn't closed until way later - after the content...

I'm not running 9.1.2.8CVS (yet Smile ), so can't help much more than that.

rlgura is right and it totally depends on what theme you use.
If the theme uses a unclosed block header, everything in it causes it to collapse.

Fixed in CVS - would have been better to have had a bug reported, especially for a cvs issue.

uhh....yes I agree, however I was trying to figure out if it was an actual bug before submitting. If you check my history I have submitted many bug reports and fixes... thanks
