I've searched the forums here, as well as google, and can't find a DL link for the old TCD_Aquarium theme. Does anyone out there have a copy of this free theme that I can beg off of you please?

Thank you so much, Phoenix! I had even looked in the DL section, but must have passed right by it. Shocked

Smile

So, installing it, I now see that I don't have the ThemeCP module. Once again, I don't see it on Devon's TCD site, and can't locate it here. Any chance you've got it in your archives as well?

I've just touched it up a little - since I don't run any themes that require it, it is untested.

OK... found an issue.

Uploaded the files, and clicked the Modules link from the Admin menu. The page comes up blank. Can't install the module, etc.

Removed the themecp folder from the modules one, and modules admin works fine. So the language file seems ok, and the fault lays somewhere in the module itself.

Post subject: Re: TCD_Aquarium request

I've hacked it into something that at least doesn't straight out give me sql errors.

The problem is that the admin icon for ThemeCP doesn't show in the admin menu, and that some of the images don't show up at all in the TCD_Aquarium theme, which is why I needed to install this CP in the first place.

9.1.2.1 is my current version. Contents of cpg_inst.php with the modifications I made posted below.

Code::
<?php
/************************************************************************/

    $installer->add_query('ADD', 'themecp', "link10url varchar(255) NOT NULL AFTER `link9url`");
  }
return true;
}
}
// ?>

I noticed that other modules didn't have the closing php tag, so commented this one out, and that along with changing
Code::
if (!defined('_MOD_INSTALL')) { exit; }
to
Code::
if (!defined('ADMIN_MOD_INSTALL')) { exit; }
at least gave me a link to install it from the modules page.

Now, the include files both have the ?> tag at the end.. going to try commenting those out as well, perhaps this thing may actually work?

Some hacking is required then that theme is for 9.0.6.1 they may be updated version of that theme coming out with no need for theme cp module. Keep your eyes open.

The instructions for adding the right code/files to a theme to convert it from needing the CP to not needing it used to be on the TCD site, but Devon's taken them down. (got them handy?)

I could probably follow the instructions and get it converted, and then use the theme conversion instructions to update it for 9.1.2.1.

I'm in a bit of a time crunch and want to do this by the end of the week. I've needed modules and themes before, and ended up porting/converting them myself because I didn't have the time to wait as long as it often takes.

I'm a total hack, but usually manage to cobble something together that works by following the examples of good themes.

Aside from that ADMIN_MOD_INSTALL error, there is also another oversight in the install file - it doesn't add radminthemcp to the admins table in your database. If you add that, the admin side will work.

The Aquarium theme itself is supposed to be 9121 standard so you should be okay.

Edit: confirmed okay - themecp download updated - simply uninstall the old one, then upload the new cpg_inst.php file and re-install.
