I changed server about the same time I upgraded to version 9.1.2.1 -- so it's not always easy to find out where problems come from. I have a set of custom modules that are i18N'ed 'the old way' -- with a 'language' subdirectory and 'lang-english.php' and 'lang-french.php' in this subdirectory. It used to work until now but suddenly stopped working, either from the upgrade or from the server move. Now when I have a key such as

Code:
echo "<h1>"._BY_COMPANY."</h1>";

it is no longer translated correctly to any language and I get just that on the page: _BY_COMPANY

A few terms are translated such as 'name' or 'year' but these are usual enough to be translated in some other way by Dragonfly itself.
Has something changed in the last version of Dragonfly on this respect ?
I'm puzzled and would be really glad if someone could help.

Probably the CHANGELOG might help you in this regard. Here is the link

www.dragonflycms.org/Changelog.html

Or probably this one would be more appropriate for your DF Version which I presume from your server specs is of the version 9.0.x.

I updated my profile info meanwhile Wink

But could not find any useful info in the Changelog on this topic. The way it's done in my modules is the way it was done in DF itself at the time it was still called 'CPG-Nuke'; but the way DF does i18n has changed sometime since (no longer in a module-per-module language subdirectory but in a top-level language directory, which makes sense BTW...

Unfortunate that the Changelog could not help you. One of the developers should drop by soon and answer your queries.

It's been answered before though I doubt it will easily pop up on a search as it has usually been answered for specific modules. This should help,

So, we will sticky it so it is more easily found Smile
