small screen resolutions cause page to scroll left to right?

I use a fairly large wide screen resolution so never really noticed before, but if you are using a 1024X768 seems like the site loses the entire right side block and you have to scroll over to see them? My stats are up to date, using the default theme, etc....

site is www.station42.com

Thanks

If you using the default theme unchanged. Then you have some content in the center that is Preventing the center column from shrinking to adjust for rez.

hmmm, yea, no modifications to the theme other than adding google analytics code. I have also turned off every center block and still same issue. I even turned off my logo picture, can't imagine what it would be....anyone else have any thoughts?

Your contents are pushing it that way.

hahah, ok I realize that "something" is pushing it that way so the question is, as you state "contents" = what??

Like I said I have set my site to have no center blocks and set the home to be the stats block, still have the issue. Shouldn't dragonfly resize to any resolution? I also have tried 800x600 just to see and it has an issue on a default install...

Looking at: www.station42.com/Statistics.html , I can get down below 800x600 with only the header causing a scroll.
800x600 has a slight scroll here because of the CSS main menu is too long.
Look at my sample site: www.greatlakesdesigns.com/ in 800x600, looks fine

hmm, guess you answered my question and provided more input. DF indeed does not appear to correctly adjust for lower resolutions, even just stats.html at 800X600 or 1024 causes a scroll left to right, although just slightly. on my site I have coppermine set as home at it appears to cause a huge scroll, I have not changed any of the default theme or the blocks on the site and there is a scroll...

I tihnk Dragonfly works just fine I think it the combination of your long logo added with a 468px wide banner. Turn your banners off and then see if the width adjusts properly.

yep, did that, turned off all center blocks, turned off logo, along with banners and still the same amount of scroll exists. The only thing I can remove that seems to make some impact is the coppermine "anycontent" block. This is the block towrad the bottom of the page that has the hardlinks and 2 square banners, removing this does seem to cut the amount of scroll by 50%, but still scrolls without it.
