Try to use in your httpd.conf

MaxRequestsPerChild = 1000

any value between 500 and 1000 should be fine in most cases .. by default you should have a value of "0"

Is there a way to see the current setting?
Obviously in a hosted environment, I don't have access to httpd.conf file and it doesn't look like you can specify this directive in .htaccess file.

Of course my host won't change this setting on a shared server...
I'm also running DF9.2.1 on 2 other sites on the same server - don't seem to have this problem with them...
Anything I can look at/test?

Post subject: Re: MySQL server has gone away

turned off all non-essential blocks and so far no errors - looks like they updated SQL and PHP on my server about the time I started getting those errors, so one of my blocks must be misbehaving with the updates
