Hi,
Ive been using cpg nuke ever since it came out and always had a good run with it.

But I cant get the latest to install it keeps giving me the error.

The connection to the database server failed

Ive tried various suggested fixes with no success.

Our system admin has been involved but still no success, he suggested

you would need to check with the developers to ensure this script is
PHP 5.2.5 compliant and that it can run with register_globals off and
dl() off

Any help would be greatfully appreciated

Cheers

RC2 is very close to be PHP6 compatible and our php5 branch is already PHP6 compatible.

We always seen register_global as a security issue and we did make sure from 8.2 times that our system will destroy GET/POST/Cookie variables from the global scope. So be sure that will work with that option off, actually we prefer it off.

we test if dl() can be used or not only in very few optional areas.

Hi
I have sorted my problem, what it was

The config file in the includes folder somehow kept the information of a previous attempt to install. I had since created a new db.

I edited that putting in the latest db information and everything went through sweet.

Cheers
