I saw this url in the ip module. Someone tried to access my site using this url:

Edit by Phoenix: removed URL Smile

What kind of an attempted access (or intrusion) attempt would this be called? In other words what are they trying to do access the admin.php file?

If you go through your raw server logs you will find thousands of futile attempts at hacking your site and that don't even get past htaccess.

This is simply one that directly targeted a DF URL - just another pathetic kiddie exploit. Eventually they might get lucky with someone who has failed to upgrade their site.

We don't promote exploits, so I removed your link. If people want to know more, they can use Google, but we refuse to support it.

Thanks Phoenix. I did not mean to promote the url in any way. Just wanted to know what was going on.

Understood, and there are varying opinions on displaying active URLs - just a long held policy of not giving these idiots any acknowledgement Smile
