I'm having an issue with my xp from a while now, tried many things to fix it ans still not luck.

Issue: highlight 2 or more folders, right click and select 'explore'. At this point every highlighted folders should open up on its own windows, but nothing happen, really nothing!

Tried to: all possible combinations in folder options under 'view', 'advanced' and 'general' tabs, sfc /scanow and 3rd party explorers.
I even created a new user account, logged into it and still no luck.

System restore its not an option since the issues showed up months ago.

Anyone know what could be or has any clue?

Why do i need to 'explore' multiple windows? Easy and fast for l10n updates.

You need to set your folder options to open each folder in a new window.

If i double-click one by one, yes it will work. But I highlight more then one, right click and select "explore" just doesn't want to work anymore.
Or i select them using shift or ctrl and hit enter will, but with the mouse it doesn't.

As a side note "explore" will open as many windows you highlighted with any kind of settings you have selected. It does on my other XP, but not on this one.

I've tried, as well, to transfer settings from an XP where it works to mine, still no luck.

Checked up and down my gpedit.msc and all is good.

not enough ram on the other xp .. issue is that I only use this when i need to updated l10n langs.

It would take forever doing that one by one, or 5 by 5 ... I was able to do all 57 langs in less then 15 minutes with this method... I really need it working on this pc got even more ram just because of this and was awesome, when it was working.

You are having a problem with your context-menu system in XP this is not the exact problem but might point you in the right direction.

Gonna love you for a long time ... MagicIso Shell Extension in the context menu was causing the issue!

Got ShellExView, disabled the shell extension and I'm up and running!

Someone who can should really make an application or php script, with what all translationfiles automatically can be modified at once.

With Add to, Remove from and Edit possibilites.
