And for what it's worth, different site, same server/account, approx. 11.5 hours later, from same bot at same URL, and same duplicate key:

Code::
On /CPGNuCalendar/view=day/date=20321128.html
While executing query "INSERT INTO wps_security_flood (flood_ip,flood_time,flood_count,log) VALUES (0x43da7486, '1248925173', '0', DEFAULT)"

the following error occured: Duplicate entry 'CÚt†' for key 1

In: /home/layin2/public_html/sbcwineries/includes/classes/security.php on line: 308

And 2 more, 1 for each site, at 18:50 for the 1st site, and 16:07 for the 2nd, everything else as before exactly.

And again to 2nd site at 00:43 ...

This 2nd site is semi-dormant, so if you want Admin access to investigate, Nano, just ask.

... data get removed regularly every ((($times+1)*2)/$delay)+$time

so this error may appear few times every minute, but it doesn't.

If, on your logs, there are 2 or more entries from this bot accessing your site at the same time, then it would confirm my theory.

Post subject: Re: flood protection - duplicate entry error

Nano,

I've found 3 dup errors, and have attached the email texts, and the matching segment of the daily log.

Easiest way I found to match the emails to the log entries is to search on the CPGNuCalendar date cited in the emails.

On 1 error the 2 accesses in question are same time, but 1 pair are 1 ms apart, and 1 pair are 2 ms apart. However there are a lot more cases I can see when the accesses are at same time, but no dup error was raised. So ... ???

A screen shot of your security page settings would be handy.

At this stage I have no clue. But I'll nail it and hang it on my wall Very Happy
