OKay, I am trying to update my existing dragonfly version and it keeps giving me a cannot connect to the sql server... I've created other test databases, and they are able to connect, can anyone help me try and figure out what's going on?

Sorry, and the dragonfly I am using is the one that is the most recent... 9.2.1 was the previous installed version. I started getting massive DB connect errors, so I tried doing a reinstall, and now I can't connect at all. Before I'd have intermittent connections.

First of all, I hope you backed up the site before you start.

I need to know what steps had you done? Did you delete any files from the 9.1.2?

I did do a database back up. I haven't deviated from the standard build much with addons or modules. I have everything I've done stored, so I can put it back up easily. But I tarballed the directory just in case.

Steps I've done is upload the latest dragonfly cms files and chmoded the files required. Ran the install and I get Failed to Connect to Database after part 2 when I put in the database user and password.

Now, because I am on ipower, I was having a database connectivity issue where they were running out of connections, so I made multiple db admin and made an array call. Before I even tried to upgrade I set the config.php file back to the one db admin, was able to do an intermittent connection same as before, and then started the upgrade.
