Hey guys. After my other difficulties earlier today, I gave up for the time being on the upgrade. So I restored my full home directory backup, and now I have run into additional problems.

I took the backup this morning. So I know it's all current.

I restored the backup, and triple-checked for missing files.

When I go to /admin.php, I can log in. After logging it, it just says the following:

Code:
Not Found
The URL that you requested, /admin.php, could not be found. Perhaps you either mistyped the URL or we have a broken link.

We have logged this error and will correct the problem if it is a broken link. We're sorry, but that page does not exist

The same goes here:
Code:
Not Found
The URL that you requested, /admin.php?op=modules, could not be found. Perhaps you either mistyped the URL or we have a broken link.

We have logged this error and will correct the problem if it is a broken link. We're sorry, but that page does not exist

Modules as well, blocks loads but does not list any blocks.
Also, security, smileys, and a long list of others say that the link is broken.

I'm no pHp guru, can somebody help? I restored the files from a master backup file. Everything is there, down to the last byte. Still nothing works. Please help me here!

Also, is /admin.php?op=modules (or =whatever) an actual file, or a point within the admin.php file? Why are these not loading?

Please help!

Sorry for the bother, I figured it out! I would delete this post but I can't - don't have the option to. Sad

so what did you do to fix the problem Nismo? please let us know so that others with a similar issue might benefit from your resolution. I just ran into this problem as well, although it has nothing to do with a backup or restore..... it just happened out of the blue.
