fuxa, you'll need to put in all your specs prior to getting help. Wink

Post subject: Re: 8.2.b to update from 9.2.1

To get a proper support read our forums rules, thank you.

To upgrade:
1) put the site into maintenance
2) backup files and db
3) locally rename install.php to something.php for security
4) upload 9.1.2.1 including something.php
5) hit /something.php

If any error report the entire error please.

On failure if you want to retry:
1) restore the database only
2) hit /something.php

otherwise:
1) restore files and database

On success check:
1) delete the install directory as well as something.php from your site.
2) admin -> blocks (tip: click to activate, then drag & drop)
3) admin -> cpgmm (just refresh the page if you see something strange)
4) play around the administration and the site
5) when you feel comfortable admin -> settings -> maintenance off

thats all, let us know.

Well it took me a while to write the above reply ... I see where the error come from.

Before any of my previous step remove the install directory from your site as well as install.php .. I repeat: "before you do anything else remove the install directory from your site and install.php always from your site"

If being in phpMyAdmin, there is a list of tables on the left. Click the icon before the cms_config_custom (not the text itself). Then you should find Version_Num, if not there is a button for the next page, there are quite a lot stuff in the cms_config_custom table, so you might need to check second or third or whatever page aswell to find Version_Num.
