In the coppermine admin main page is an option
"Show gallery menu above gallery?
(selecting no shows menu as a sideblock)"

I set this to "yes" and save the configuration, but the page is redisplayed with "no" again with no error. I can't find an obvious entry in the cms_cpg_config table that relates to this and right blocks are turned off for the gallery in the main admin->modules->coppermine.

Any help appreciated.

I've cured this with a hack that just places an upload link in the header:

/modules/coppermine/includes/load.inc

add: define('NO_HEADER', 0); after

if ($module_name == $cpg_dir && (is_user() || is_admin()) && !defined('MEMBER_BLOCK')) {
define('MEMBER_BLOCK', 1);
}

Then /themes/THEME/coppermine/main_menu.inc

and move the obvious upload menu item from the first part of the file into the meta_links section (without the <!-- comments).
