well, we had to download a new ver of PHP My Admin, this one worked.
and just then it finished importing the Database in 43mins 51seconds.
760 queries executed.
Hell, its not even the latest version of Dragonfly, because we cant update it.
we have tried multiple times and posted in here about updating it before, the only way to update will be to restart the site from scratch, and its had over 2 years of work put into it allready, so you can guess im not a fan of that option.
Either way, the database is up now, and yeah, i will report back if i have any other issues.

Try building a test site put your current site/database on it and do test run on the test site.

This is what i did on Windows:
1. install apache
2. test if it works
3. install PHP
4. restart apache
5. test php (it failed)
6. modify httpd.conf according to php docs
7. restart apache
8. test php
9. install sql (mysql, postgresql)
10. install a nice sql editor (heidi, pgadmin)
11. test sql
12. modify php.ini to activate sql extension
13. restart apache
14. install dragonfly
This is what i did on Linux:
1. open package manager and install Apache, SQL and PHP
2. install dragonfly
After that i did configure httpd.conf and php.ini to my likings to include mod_rewrite, override all, mbstring, imagemagick, etc. etc.
The big advantage on linux is that i just add additional ini files to my /etc/php.d/ directory to include (PECL) extensions, rather than to edit php.ini on windows.
This has big advantages if you installed the php-devel package to phpize and "make install" extensions.

This is what I did with wampserver on windows:
1. install the package
2. install Dragonfly.
After that customize by "tick-a-box" selections.
No difference really.

i use a program called SQLyog to import large databases. works great and no file limits. Sorry for slow response. Between kids, clients and school I haven't had much time to check these forums.
