How to disable unknown user agent check

I'm STILL getting this error. Even on dragonflycms.org. Is there a way to deactivate the check?

I had to turn it off to get it to stop.

Main Admin > Security

Find Unkown User-Agents (should be unkNown, but mine has a typo) in the list and change the dropdown next to it to Inactive.

/admin.php?op=security

At least ... I think that should turn it off.

I can't even put my site on maintenance anymore, even if I do it via phpMyAdmin , so not sure what is up 100% right now.

Have to say, the way this is going for me, I think I will be forced to downgrade my DF just so it can be operational again. Sad

I'm currently building my new site with 9.0.6.1 (I think.) I was having problems with my database being locked and no changes being saved in phpMyAdmin as well.

With 9.0.6.1? Or with 9.2.1.7?

The database problem was 9.2.1

My site in progress is now running 9.0.6.1 because I got tired of all the problems with the new version. Sad

Yeah I am hearing you there ... how hard was it to convert back?

Any tips on that - I'd sure hate to lose the month's worth of data that the database has acquired while being 9.2.1, but I will sacrifice it for a working and functional site in an heartbeat.

I am not looking forward to downgrading at all and have NO ide what was done to the table to upgrade that will pose a probalm when I revert it back.

Honestly, I got aggitated enough to downgrade before I had much work done, so I wiped and did a clean install. It's been smooth sailing ever since. I just came back after a multi-year absence from the DF community, so I'm not very familiar with the table structure of the new version and how much, if any, it differs from old versions.

But really you should try getting it upgrade to the latest DF. Especially if you are planniing on doing any kind of coding for DF. That is IMO.

I do have a copy of 9.2.1 installed on my local machine that I can use for development if I need to. I don't want my production site running with the problems, however.

Good point. So as long as you have the means to do what you need to do, I won't worry about it. Big grin

You know, it seems liek the clean installs work okay.

But the upgrade, there must be something buggy somewhere.

I'm wondering if it is that all the files seem to be coded as utf-8, as that has *always* been an issue with it not playing nice with the ANSI coded stuff.

Ok so from what Im reading here..I assume this,
I am running version 9121 and I am thinking from what I have read that maybe I should stay with 9121 until its more stable? Is it really that buggy right now?
