I was using hotmail for years.
Then Microsft decided to force me to use live hotmail.

For a few months i received warnings about my firefox not being compatible and that i should upgrade, while i'm using the latest and gratest

But as of last week it became terrible!
You can't type any messages anymore

The issue:
Microsoft decided to abandon GNU/Linux users by blocking access step by step and show an incorrect warning message at first and then started disabling features.
Now anyone who is using GNU/Linux can't use M$ products anymore.

However, Chris Pedrick wrote a nice Firefox extension named "User Agent Switcher"
I wrapped up a Firefox string with Windows Vista as detection, and the proof was founded!

In my opinion everyone should ban hotmail accounts with a warning message:

I do want to thank hotmail for offering me webmail in the 90's but in this millennium age (when Microsoft aquired hotmail) Microsoft is loosing ground fast. Even computer suppliers like Dell will offer very fast GNU/Linux based computers in 2009 since Windows Vista is to slow and get downgraded to XP.

Ik wil wel hotmail bedanken voor het beheren van mijn webmail in de 90'er jaren, maar in dit millenium (toen Microsoft hotmail opkocht), vertoond Microsoft steeds meer scheuren. Per 2009 worden computers zelfs massaal uitgerust met GNU/Linux omdat Windows Vista te langzaam is en steeds wordt gedowngrade naar XP.

P.S. I do can open non-ISO approved Word .doc/.docx documents using my incredible OpenOffice system, however you will receive documents in the .odt format (which are ISO approved and used by all governments)

hotmail has been banned on my sites for awhile now all free email providers have been. Well the ones I know about.
