It's Fedora 8 GNU/Linux running VirtualBox on a dualscreen setup with only one screen configured to be the "desktop" with panels.
My right screen therefore has all its pixels free for anything i want "real" full screen.

I've configured this at work and put Windows XP in a VirtualBox as "full screen".
Really all the designers, web-designers and even the tech peeps thought i was the only one of all people that has 2 computers just to run any system at will.

I just said "oh the Mac comes soon as well" Laughing

So maybe an idea to put a dual-screen mac on your place and run Windows and GNU/Linux on those just to poke soem eyes out?

Didn't even think about dualscreen, just thought you gave too screenshots.


I tried to have xp from raw disk in VirtualBox, but failed as XP thinks that the hardware has changed (XP installs certain files with certain hardware, so no changes allowed).

However, I can access my Ubuntu from either real boot or VirtualBox from Windows. Which is quite pointless the way it is, though.

Linux(Debian Based) running Beryl i.e. Compiz Fusion maybe?? I have tried to get similar effects on my Ubuntu Installation and I have been pretty successful! Wink
