That's what my dev site is - just a site that I use to install and test things before adding it to a live site that has members on it.

Let's see ... outside of the normal run-of-the-mill, out-of-the-box mods and blocks, these are all of the the "extras" that are installed on it:

Shoutblock
Crosswords
Kudos
Article Directory
Personal Pages
Enhaunced Content
Subscriptions
Newsletter Pro
Top Sites
Article Directory (second install)
Cache Manager
Clubs
Quiz4U
Business Directory
Multicam Chat
and an iframe module

Ok. A couple questions for you, hopefully help narrow down where the problem is.

If you go to Personal Pages via the menu link, does it display the correct user pages? or still just yours?

Do you use the optional profile replacement included in Personal Pages' /extras folder? It shouldn't be required or anything, I'm just curious.

I'm looking over the code to refresh my brain a bit and look for anything that might cause a problem. Thanks for reporting the issue, hopefully we'll get something figured out.

If I go to it using the menu link - it shows the list of pages for the members that have created one.

But when I go and look at another member's profile, *MY* personal page is displayed on their page. If I click on someone else's page, it directs me to their profile page and does in fact display the page they created at the bottom.

If I log out as a member and look at a member's profile that has created a page, it says:

There is no Personal Page of Anonymous!

So it *seems* to want to display the page of the person *looking* at the profile rather than displaying the page for the person's whose profile you are looking at.

I am not sure if I did use the replacement profile or not. How would I be able to tell?

I gave this module a try and it seems to work fine, exept for one thing... when i try to add videos i click the "video" button, enters the url and size and all that shows up is this:

Code::
[video width=350 height=300]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43lBiJIzEPk[/video]

Is there something wrong with the bbcode formator when i use the button?

Thats not an url to the video stupid! it's to the page WITH the video embed to it, just open that url, check for the "embed" string and paste it to the profilepage (if HTML is activated that is) and it should work Smile

So if I have this straight, when you go to Personal Pages via the menu link, and select a user's personal page, it DOES display the correct page, but when you go to their profile it tries to display yours?

No ideas yet, but it does give me a better idea where to look. If what I wrote above is correct, we have probably narrowed it down to something with /modules/Your_Account/blocks/personal.php... It might be something specific to your setup, as others have not reported this problem with recent versions, but if I can doctor up a patch or something for you, I'll give it a shot.

If you've previously installed old versions, one possibility is that /modules/Your_Account/blocks/personal.php was not overwritten properly with a new version. So you could try manually copying the file over from the latest zip file. If you never installed a previous version though, this probably won't make a difference.

Sorry I've been away for a bit, I actually have bipolar disorder, and when my meds aren't quite right, I get very unproductive. Hopefully things are straightening out a bit now, and I should be back in action. Smile

Edit: Actually bipolar disorder as well as attention deficit disorder, wonderful combo. :b

It's a Dev site and though some things are installed, 'd still think it was a clean install.

If I go from the menu, it takes me to the listing of everyone's pages.

If I click on someone's page it takes me to their page, as it should.

If I click on someone else's profile anywhere else, it takes me to their profile page but MY personal page shows up in the bottom of their profile, not THEIR personal page.

If I click on MY profile, it shows correctly.

Ok, it's definitely something in /modules/Your_Account/blocks/personal.php then.

I'll take a look at it and see what I can come up with.

Smile
