Don't worry about 'Notices.' There are just that, notices about some event. Usually you write code to avoid these being output, but sometimes the amount of code necessary to inhibit them just isn't worth the overhead.

'Warnings' are a bit more serious, but can usually also be ignored. ( 'Errors' on the other hand are worth following up on... )

General rule of thumb: If you are the developer of the module in question, you should probably have Notices enabled, but for everyone else simply turn Notices off.

problem is the dates for the private messages are not being displayed.... any hints on how to fix, as the numbers are showing in the database table, just not in the template, is there a certain language file I should check to see what is up, as the code worked, fine, have forums pro 2.3 and 9.2.1 Df site

Usually such notices are also associated with a filename to allow tracking the issue.

thanks, just resolved, went through and compared tables, and index, etc., and there was an extra table, maybe from the add on module nbbcode, not certain, it was a bb_code table in the private message text db, not sure how it got there or what it was doing, nothing to do with the core df or fpro and the nbbcode module put the table there

anyways, resolved is status, dates are showing
