They have put some huge work in that.

The concurrent translation was awesome. And everything else too. It will definitely make a good separate Google product.

I'm not that sure about its usefulness in embedding it everywhere else (i.e Dragonfly), but might be.

Thanks for the news~!

Hi there

Watched it all the way through love the auto translator that translates in real-time on the fly...neat..

Whether this could be integrated into a module or not ? no idea I will leave that one to the programmer developers..

Will have to say it would be one wicked form of communication tool to have in dragonfly ..most certainly bring the communication up to a whole new level, and properly more advanced then any of the other cms out there.

great news many thanks a must see for any other members on DF

Cheers Tim

Good stuff that. Nice API to grab the features you need. I think I'll go learn up about html5 - that could make one hell of a CMS interface.

The only problem is that html5 capable Internet Explorer would come probably most soon at 2015 or so...

It would take me that long to get out the first version Wink

Didn't they run wave in three browsers already? I think FF has been html5 ready for years. Perhaps it's time to jump ahead - something to look into a bit more anyway.

Wasn't it Minefield, Safari 4, and latest Chrome Beta and Opera 10 I guess.

Well, whatever, I don't think IE will be that fast, but I might be wrong, because Google has a huge impact and MS wants to compete. (For example the search engines it tries to make)

I thought it was also FF (it crashed if I remember correctly), but I think you are right that if Wave takes off and you need html5 working to use it then the market share increase for chrome and FF will push MS into action. FF already made IE much better than it was - in the end it is applications rather than standards that are the driver.

See how it goes I've just asked for sandbox access.

Cool to add google wave into coppermine, private messages, forums, news ecc ecc.

Invite confirmation received by google wave team, in few days I'll probably have sandbox and API access.
