I emailed Tom about 2 weeks ago. He is doing better these days which is a plus. He told me he did a total revamp of DF with some pretty impressive modifications. I will touch basis with him and see where he is with the FB connect.
One thing I have to put out there is when we were beta testing this thing hard and heavy the Facebook API was buggy and inconsistent. This may play a factor if he really wants to complete the work. Fingers crossed.

Update: No go on the FB connect. I sent him an email I think the day I posted the last update and never heard back from him. Sorry everyone.

I really hope all the best for Tom, just noticed his mentioning to MRI and CT scans, which for personal experience can really screw with your mind.
Hope you well mate and I hope you never go under a radio therapy unit for 33 sessions of 25 minutes each ... or chemo therapy stuck in your chest for 5 days each run.
Again I wish you all the best.
Back on the fb connect. It is scheduled for integration into v10 along other email providers. If we had his code along all his findings and experiences on the matter it would be easy for us to develop such integration, but otherwise we will get around it as usual.
I'm sorry for everyone who donated, however, nothing is lost ... we heard you guys.

Thank you NanoCaiordo for the complement.
I am back "SomeWhat" health is back to a manageable state.
Lost most everything.
Currently am using a borrowed computer.
If someone has a test site I could upload and code to.
Or point me to cheap hosting for dev.
I would be glad to work with you.
Shouldn't take more than a few days for a basic facebook
login and signup scripts.

Thanks alyssa - haven't had a hug in a while. Health under control.
Retirement income now coming in. So it's just an uphill financial climb.
