if you have same domain just upload all old files and sql make sure settings in config.php are correct for database connection and you should have your old site back up and running.

Clear cache folder though, except for .htaccess.

In this case i must begin only with the Dragonfly(downloaded and installer version) becouse i don't have a backup version of the my ex site i have only the original database and i have original domain.
So i can upload DF and after mod config with ex data structure same for db?

I would:

Upload a new install OF THE SAME DF VERSION AS YOU USED BEFORE. Name db, etc same as before (use old config.php as a guide), run through install. Use same login name as before, etc., etc.

Copy down the new config.php, and check against info from old config.php.

If all ok, then import the old db into the new db.

Login and it should be how you left it. Check everything, and see if OK. Then if it was an earlier version than DF 9.2.1 I would want to upgrade now, when there is no new data to worry about (ie. you can start over if necessary).

What you will need to do is:
1. Download same version of DF you used before
2. Create DB (use same name as before. Look at config.php to get name user name and pass or create new but edit config.php to use new names and pass)
3. Upload new DF files
4. Check config.php again to make sure it is correct.
5. Delete everything but the .htaccess file from the folder cache

Your site should be up and running when you visit your domain.
Then you can upgrade to the latest version of DF.

Restore your site back to the way it was when you took it down. Then upgrade to newest version of DF.

New files with old database -> install.php
Thats the correct procedure since you simulating an upgrade.

Just make sure u upload all modules were previously installed (DownloadsPro and others if any) and THEN hit install.php.
