Hi mrmati. This sounds like an old message which occurs when there is not a news article present. There needs to be one present for the module to function.

Did you delete the default news article before adding a new article?

The best way is to import the original message back into the database and then try it out. I will assume that you are using DF 9.2.1. Try importing this into the database.

This is an export of the original news message. In phpmyadmin, import the file.
First, make a backup of what you now have. This is important.
Second, make a change in line 28 and 44 of the file. Replace the "XXX" with the prefix of your database tables.
Use only a utf-8 editor to make these changes. Do not use windows notepad. I prefer notepad2 or geany.
After making these two changes, import the file.

If you have any problems, report back and I will try to help. I am by no means an expert, but I have had this problem before... Cool

The "page 1 does not exist" issue has been dealt with and is misleading - there is actually a bug.

Change line 39 in modules/News/admin/submissions.inc to:
PHP:
story_form(intval($_POST['qid']), $_POST['subject'], $_POST['hometext'], $_POST['bodytext'], intval($_POST['topic']), intval($_POST['uid']), $_POST['author'], $_POST['alanguage']);
