Thanks I'll give it a spin and test it. I'll let you know if it works.

Okay, blocks proxy and allows non-proxy for me - can't see any other side effects.
When 8.2b is released, most of that code is present, just a matter of adding a couple of extra lines.

It works fine thanks. One last question. My site statistics module works fine but when I switch to "detailed stats" it has like 20 entries for each day...( I.e. July 18th is counted and shown 20 times) Any clue what's up with that? I have tried different statistics modules with no change. Looks like a database issue but I am not sure how to correct it...or maybe a query issue? The stats on the first page are fine. It is the detailed page which has gone nuts...well it has always been this way since I switched to cpg. I converted a phpnuke database.

I can recall seeing that sort of problem reported elsewhere (not here), though not to that extent, only 2 or 3 copies.
Not sure why it starts, but you need to remove all the duplicate figures from your db using phpmyadmin (or do it offline and upload table), and it should recover. -stats_date, _stats_hour, _stats_month.

Sorry to bump this but will Phoenix's code on the previous page work for the latest version of DF?
We had to ban a few members recently but they've discovered that they can get back in and stay hidden by using various proxies.

Capable of blocking proxies?
Also I'm not sure how to try it as we don't have a mainfile.php anymore.
cmsinit.inc looks like it could be where this should go but I don't really know how or where.
